Control Room / Network Operation Center ( NOC) Design & Integration – Case Study

Granteq’s capability of architecting interior spaces to accommodate and adapt AV components seamlessly will get well utilized in this project. The outcome will be a very well laid out and functional control room.

Granteq currently commenced a turn-key project for a multinational conglomerate that is into technology, financial, aviation, power generation services worldwide.

The project consists of designing and building the facility by integrating the interior and AV components for their state of the art control room and Network Operation Center (NOC).

Granteq’s capability of architecting interior spaces to accommodate and adapt AV components seamlessly will get well utilized in this project. The outcome will be a very well laid out and functional control room.

A large-format concave video wall will take the centre stage, on raised flooring made of solid wood, covered with moisture-resistant panels. The raised flooring will have step and raiser with necessary wooden support and trimmed with aluminum panels, ready to receive floor carpet.

Control rooms are incomplete without a LED Ticker. The LED ticker installed can show multiple / mixed information. It can have custom messages or can be fed via RSS. Wireless presentation systems take out the hassle of cables and helps seamless presentation. Crystal clear sound will be delivered by the High fidelity audio system with amplifiers and ceiling speakers. The digital video wall has processors with multiple inputs / outputs, and the whole AV systems will be under centralized control hub.

Apart from the control room, the project includes meeting rooms and a Customer Experience Centre.

The meeting room consists of large format wall mounted display screen, tabletop media inputs, video conferencing systems, and centralized AV control.

The interior clearly partitioned include GI studs and tracks, Rockwool insulation, covered with sanded, primed gypsum boards on both faces and painted with white Fenomastic paint. Certain areas have double tempered glass partition over solid Oakwood frame.

This project underlines the need for seamlessly integrating AV systems with the interior components. By having one vendor for the whole interior design and AV integration, the company is benefitting with lower cost, less paperwork / negotiation and a well laid out interior and AV system.
