Granteq designs and integrates audiovisual environments for universities, schools, training institutions and research facilities across the GCC and India — spaces where the quality of the AV environment has a direct bearing on the quality of learning.
Educational AV encompasses a wider range of environments than almost any other sector. A university lecture theatre, a secondary school classroom, a professional training suite and a research seminar room each have their own distinct AV requirements — and each deserves a design that reflects them specifically.
Granteq works with academic institutions, campus architects and facilities teams to design AV environments that support the way educators teach and students learn. We bring experience across the full spectrum of educational settings, from K12 schools to postgraduate research facilities and professional development centres.
We begin every educational AV project by understanding how the space will be used to teach. The AV design follows from that understanding, with products selected to support specific learning and instructional requirements.
We design AV environments that can be deployed at scale, with consistent user interfaces and centralised management — so a lecturer can walk into any room on campus and know exactly how it works.
We provide managed AV support programmes tailored to educational institutions — with training for academic and technical staff and service levels aligned to the rhythms of the academic year.
Large scale AV environments designed for clarity of delivery at scale. High resolution display, distributed reinforcement audio and lecture capture capability — so every student in the room receives the same quality of experience, regardless of where they are seated.
AV environments for everyday teaching — designed to be operated by any member of academic staff with no technical training required. Standardised across every classroom, managed centrally and maintained proactively so learning is never interrupted.
AV environments built for institutions where students attend in person and remotely, simultaneously. Designed so that both experiences are equitable — with remote participants fully visible and heard, not simply present on a screen in the corner of the room.
Smaller AV environments designed for discussion, group work and seminar based teaching. Flexible display configurations, easy content sharing and audio optimised for conversation — not presentation.
Campus wide AV information systems that keep students, staff and visitors informed and oriented. Managed centrally by the institution, updated instantly and calibrated to the visual identity of the campus.
GEMS SRI is a purpose built, research led campus conceived as a next generation learning ecosystem — one that gives students genuine access to experimentation, creativity, cross disciplinary collaboration and real world application of knowledge.
Across the campus, Granteq delivered an integrated AV ecosystem designed to be powerful in capability while remaining practical and intuitive for educators and operational teams. The solution enables flexible teaching environments, seamless content sharing, interactive learning zones and production ready spaces that reflect professional studio and research laboratory standards.
This project was recognised at the 2026 Inavation Awards in the Education category — one of the professional AV industry’s most respected global honours — announced at Integrated Systems Europe in Barcelona.

“The immersive spaces across SRI allow our students to move easily between collaboration, experimentation, and presentation, supported by technology that feels natural rather than complex. Granteq understood that our priority was always learning, and the technology had to serve that purpose.”
