Introducing ClassVR, a groundbreaking technology designed to help raise engagement & increase knowledge retention for students of all ages. Everything your school needs…
ClassVR comes with pre-designed content for a multitude of topics and subjects that can be easily integrated with any lesson plan. Other than this, the centralized control offered to teachers allows them to Plan, Organize, Deliver and even Customize the content easily.
This content includes 360* Videos, 360* Pictures, 3D models and Animated Models. The solution is tailor made for the classroom environment to provide the most comfortable and seamless experience for both the students and the teachers.
ClassVR’s headset is a standalone, classroom-ready device, delivering a fully immersive VR experience under the teacher’s control.
Unlike other VR headsets, ClassVR does not require any additional devices, such as phones. Everything is fully integrated into the device, making it easy to use and super reliable.
The heart of the ClassVR interface is the ‘holodeck‘. This futuristic ‘room’ gives students a central place to begin their adventures. Across the holodeck, icons are shown, depicting educational activities, locations or experiences.
These icons and experiences can be customised by the teacher, or selected by scanning a QrKey on our pre-defined educational lesson plans and themes.
Using just your hands and simple head movements you can navigate around the icons and select and launch activities. No buttons to fumble for, no controllers to hold.
With ClassVR’s ‘head tilt’ gesture, just tilt your head left and right and you will rotate around the picture, allowing you to experience 360 degree images from a safe sitting position.
The Portal is a web based interface that teachers will have access to and can be used to deliver and supervise the immersive learning experience given to the students.
the Plan section of the portal allows teachers to organize VR & AR content either from the resource library or some that they created themselves into a playlist ready to be delivered to the students.
The Deliver section allows teachers to preview the content before sending it to the headsets and the ClassView tab allows teachers to actively monitor the students’ activity.
All of this is demonstrated in the video.
ClassVR also offers, to the truly creative and determined, an avenue to create their own interactive virtual reality environment. This is all possible due to the intelligent and seamless integration of CoSpaces which combines attributes of CAD and Scratch programming to make the process easy enough for a fifth grader.
This gives students a chance to create their own 3D environment and make it behave according to the rules they design themselves using either MIT scratch type or python based programming.
