In Conversation with Neeraj Sajnani
A Granteq Media Conversation: We sat down with Neeraj Sajnani, Director of Business Development, following his attendance at the PSNI AV Marketing Summit in Detroit, Michigan.

Neeraj, what drew you to the PSNI AV Marketing Summit at Detroit this year?
PSNI brings together AV integrators from across the world, but the Marketing Summit is not an open event, attendance is by invitation. Being invited to the table, and being in that room, means something. The Marketing Summit is where that community comes together to discuss how the industry grows, communicates its value, and stays relevant. When you’re in that room, you’re among people who are genuinely driving the industry forward globally. And our Managing Director Girish also made the trip to Detroit for this one.
Why did you consider attending this specific event?
Because it gets you out of your local bubble. We operate in a dynamic, fast-growing market here in the UAE and the wider GCC, but the global AV industry is moving quickly, in terms of how clients buy, how we position ourselves, and what story we tell. Attending an event like this keeps us connected to that bigger picture. It’s not just learning, it’s benchmarking ourselves against some of the best in the world.
What can a summit held in Detroit bring back to a market like the Middle East?
More than you’d expect. The conversations around marketing strategy, lead generation, and digital presence are universal. The clients we serve in Dubai are asking the same fundamental questions that clients in the US are asking. Bringing those perspectives back and adapting them for our region gives us a real edge.
What were some of the key themes discussed at this year’s summit?
There was a strong focus on how AV companies can communicate more effectively — with clients, with vendors, and internally as teams. Video content, social media strategy, and meaningful lead generation came up consistently. It reinforced that in AV, the technology sells itself only up to a point. How you market it, and how you build trust with your audience, is what makes the real difference.
What was your biggest takeaway?
That AV marketing must be practical, connected, and human. It shouldn’t just talk about products or systems, it should help clients understand how technology improves the way they collaborate, learn, operate, and work every day. For Granteq, that’s a very relevant message as we continue to serve clients across the region.
